Hey there!
By now you should have a list of shiny new ideas to work on — awesome!
And I know you want to test all of them.
But it’s not humanly possible. (Our infinite backlog of content and growth ideas for La Sopa is proof lol)
So let’s prioritize!
🧪Challenge of the day — Prioritize your experiments
There are many ways to prioritize your ideas.
If you have a team, you can ask them to vote.
If you’re on your own, you can decide based on what will bring the biggest ROI.
Or you can use one of the following frameworks.
Option 1: Impact vs effort matrix
High impact, low effort: Do these first!
High impact, high effort: Plan for these next.
Low impact, low effort: Quick wins.
Low impact, high effort: Skip or save for later.
Option 2: ICE framework
Score each idea from 1 to 10 based on:
Impact: How much will this move the needle?
Confidence: How sure are you that it will work?
Ease: How simple is it to execute?
Formula: (Impact + Confidence + Ease) / 3 = priority score
Whatever method you choose, your task for today is to:
Go back to your brainstorming list from yesterday.
Prioritize your experiments.
Identify your quick wins and longer-term projects.
Example 🪩
Let’s take Anna, a business coach who sells her coaching sessions and events on Instagram. Her biggest challenge is client retention—only 5% of her clients come back. Additionally, Anna wants to improve her conversion rate from reach to inquiries.
Using ICE Framework
Quick wins for Anna is sending thank-you messages and adding testimonials to Instagram highlights. While longer-term projects are launching a loyalty program and creating a reel series.
She will make an action plan for them tomorrow.
But what do I do with the rest of the ideas? 🤔
Add them to the backlog!
Whether you use Trello, Asana, or Notion, you can store all of your ideas there and execute them later. They can get their time to shine later.
